EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative is launching an Open Call for external experts to support the evaluation of applications received during our Calls for Proposals.
The portfolio of proposals to be evaluated covers the topics of the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative Deep Tech Areas:
- Advanced Computing / Quantum Computing
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Advanced Materials
- Aerospace, Automotive and Remote Sensing
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, including Big Data
- Biotechnology and Life Sciences
- Communications and Networks, including 5G
- Cybersecurity and Data Protection
- Electronics and Photonics
- Internet of Things, W3C, Semantic Web
- Robotics
- Semiconductors (microchips)
- Sustainable Energy and Clean Technologies
- Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Metaverse
- Web 3.0, including Blockchain, Distributed Ledgers, NFTs
Independent external experts can perform two different roles:
- Evaluators are responsible for evaluating proposals submitted in response to a Call for Proposals based on the Call Guidelines.
- Rapporteurs act at consensus meetings of evaluators’ panels. Rapporteurs are responsible for drafting the Evaluation Summary Report of proposals discussed at a consensus meeting.
What we are looking for:
External evaluators:
- An advanced university degree attested by a diploma.
- A prior participation in the evaluation of EU-funded programs is a plus.
- Proven experience in at least in one of the Deep Tech Areas.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of professional activities.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
External rapporteurs:
- An advanced university degree attested by a diploma.
- A prior participation in the evaluation of EU-funded programs.
- Participation in evaluations as a rapporteur (or similar role) is a plus.
- Relevant past experience in preparing, organising and facilitating workshops or similar.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of professional activities.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
