The Central Eastern European SumSchool project focuses on the Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) education segment, targeting students from RIS countries. The project’s scope of activity includes providing practical training in innovation and enterprise (I&E) for sustainable urban mobility (UM) solutions to 3rd-year bachelor students from RIS countries. The project aims to bridge the knowledge gap, promote knowledge exchange and capacity building in regions that require sustainable mobility solutions.

Course Presentation
The course aims to empower bachelor students from Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) countries to promote sustainable urban mobility solutions and enhance their professional development by upskilling in entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability. It fosters an entrepreneurial mindset equipping students with the capacity to adapt to new technologies and business models. The project aims to contribute to creating impact in the urban mobility sector by fostering the collaboration within the communities and removing barriers between RIS and non-RIS countries through facilitating knowledge sharing, cooperation and innovation and empowering local initiatives.
The course is structured as a two weeks-long on-site programme. By integrating Challenge-Based Learning, the project empowers students with the skills to create innovative solutions that improve urban mobility (UM). The project aims to foster an entrepreneurial mindset, equipping students to adapt to new technologies and business models. Through this initiative, students can upskill and re-skill in entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainability, thereby promoting their professional development and enhancing the workforce in the mobility sector.
