Course Presentation
The purpose of the “Introduction to Machine Learning” course is to develop students’ skills in building, researching and evaluating the quality of mathematical models related to non-representational machine learning methods (support vector machines, linear regression, decision trees, etc.). The course forms in students the basic skills necessary for work in the field of machine learning and data analysis: the ability to construct and visualize features, change their dimensions, choose and train classification, regression and clustering algorithms, analyze the results of their work, draw conclusions about the success of model selection and its hyperparameters.
This course runs once a year, starting in September.
