We are delighted to announce that Francesca Barisani, EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative Chief of Outreach will be participating in the next European Union Intellectual Property Office’s (EUIPO) IP in Education network meeting which will take place on 22 and 23 October 2024 (online).
On the first day, Francesca will provide an update on the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative during the session on ‘Perspectives on the IP in Education for the Future’, being held alongside representatives from other EU stakeholders, DG EAC and EUIPO Next Gen Initiative.
There will also be a panel discussion on the EUIPO Observatory’s NextGen 2025 report on how young people encounter IP and how to engage secondary, vocational, and tertiary education students and teachers.
The second day will explore the ethics of AI and education, and the latest developments in the field of IP education.
