After the success of our in-person Pledger Share & Connect event in Paris this January, we’re excited to bring the experience to our Italian community! Partnering with Pledger Politecnico di Torino, we’ll be co-hosting the next Pledger Share & Connect event on Thursday 27 March, at the i3P, Politecnico di Torino’s Incubator, in Torino, Italy.
The session is dedicated to discussing the trends, challenges, opportunities, and future skill requirements that will support AI innovation in manufacturing.
Speakers
Francesca Barisani, Chief of Outreach, EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative, will open and moderate the event. Welcome introductions will be given by Fulvio Corno, Vice Rector for Education and Emilio Paolucci, Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Politecnico di Torino, and Cosimo Musca, Deputy Head of Italian Public Affairs & Programs Management Director, STMicroelectronics, and EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative Advisory Board member.

- EIT Manufacturing will look at how to ensure training programs are aligned with the current demands and requirements of the industry.

- yourscienceEDU srl will look at effective educational strategies for upskilling and reskilling workers in AI technologies.
- EIT Hub Italy will discuss the role of the EIT Community Hub Italy and EIT Community initiatives to support AI innovation in manufacturing.
- Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi) will provide insights into how AI is reshaping industrial engineering and the necessary competencies for engineers.
- Ecosistema Formazione Italia will explore how to build an ecosystem where companies, training providers, and institutions work together to bridge skill gaps, drive upskilling, and adapt to evolving workforce needs.
- Miticoro will discuss emerging AI applications in manufacturing and the skills required to implement them.
- Trentino Innovation will focus on the best practices and case studies of AI-driven manufacturing transformation at the regional level.
Iveco and Altair are also participating at the event.
The event is in English, and will be followed by informal networking in English and/or Italian.
