We are delighted to announce that the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative will be taking part in the fourth edition of the Women and Girls in STEM Forum on 10 October from Budapest, Hungary. It is the annual flagship event that celebrates the success of the Girls Go Circular initiative, led by the EIT Community, in cooperation with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and the Directorate-General for Education and Culture European Commission (DG-EAC). This hybrid event, will be live-streamed for registrants to follow online.
Over the past three years, this event has attracted over 3,000 participants including policymakers, industry leaders, educators, and students to identify key actions to bridge the gender gap in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and information and communication technology (ICT), dismantle gender stereotypes and empower girls to pursue career dreams in science and technology.
This year’s Forum will spotlight the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in bridging the gender gap in STEM. Join a diverse group of experts as they share insights, success stories, and strategies through engaging panels and speeches. Learn how AI can foster inclusive opportunities for women, from targeted education to supportive professional networks, emphasising mentorship, representation, and policy changes.
The audience includes over 1000 online viewers and 200 on-site participants, comprised of 75 Girls Go Circular students from 25 European countries, 25 teachers, and approximately 100 external guests, including representatives from the European Commission, EIT, KIC’s partners, educational institutions, NGOs, companies and start-ups focused on gender equality, technology, and AI.
