We are delighted to announce that Francesca Barisani, EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative Chief of Outreach, will be hosting a panel session on Saturday 15 June at the upcoming We Make Future international trade fair on digital, AI & tech innovation organised by Deep Tech Talent Initiative Pledger, SearchOn Media Group.
We Make Future (WMF)
WMF is a global platform for building the future, an accelerator of culture, education, and innovation that operates as a tool in service of society, connecting Italy and the world.
Held within the spaces of BolognaFiere from 13-15 June, this 3-day event features over 100 events dedicated to education, business, and entertainment.
The educational program is always a central element of WMF and results from a co-creation process that draws from the needs of the Community, market trends, and contributions from numerous speakers and guests from around the world who participate in WMF.
In 2024, over 90 educational stages are planned with more than 1,000 speakers, and each stage will be a vertical event focusing on topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Social Media, Advertising, E-commerce, Brands, Content Creators, and much more.
Enhancing edtech in Europe
European edtech faces fragmentation and difficulties in upscaling. The biggest difficulty facing job applicants is that as technology is constantly advancing, their skills need regular updating along with the need to show proficiency in the right technologies. This can be overcome by gaining a strong foundation in a relevant skill and improving soft skills.
Francesca’s session will address the current bottlenecks, opportunities for the future, and try to provide suggestions to help talents, companies, organisations and institutions gain know-how and become more competitive.
The session begins at 10:40 CET and lasts for 20 minutes.
