Applications closed for the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative’s Call for Training Proposals

The EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative’s Call for Training Proposals will fund up to 20 projects committed to pioneering the future of deep tech education and skills development across Europe and will distribute a total amount of up to €2 million.

By the application deadline on Thursday 20 June, 97 consortia, comprising at least two Pledgers of the EIT Deep Tech Talent, had submitted proposals to create new programs to train one million people in deep tech in Europe. These are now being evaluated and all applicants will be advised of the outcome of their proposals in mid-August.

New Pledgers preparing for course approval

In preparation of creating, validating, launching, and executing their courses, Pledgers, new and current, were invited to participate in a Quality Check drop-in session where the Quality Check requirements and process were explained in-depth.

Pledgers learned that the Quality Check process was designed to ensure all the courses published on the platform meet the strategic objectives of the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative and fulfil the mandatory criteria, to ensure course’s appropriateness for the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative and its contribution to learning in deep tech.

They were also walked through how to complete the course information form for a successful Quality Check process outcome when looking to publish deep tech courses on the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative website, and how the whole process works from submission of the form, through quality checking and the Quality Course Approval Panel (QCAP), to post panel processing and downloading the course Quality Check Seal and Certificate.
