Empowering Deep Tech Talent: A Conversation with Alison Gray from Skillfluence

Recently, we had the pleasure of speaking with Alison Gray, Founder of Skillfluence, an experienced, dynamic training company that specialises in transferable skills training that equips researchers and academics to work with others, both inside and outside of academia. Through programs focused on commercialisation, policy engagement, and public outreach, Skillfluence supports these individuals maximise the social and economic impact of their research and realise the value their skills and expertise could have on industry and society.

“Our goal is to connect with a wider audience and maximise our impact. Through initiatives like the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative, we can reach a diverse range of individuals and organisations, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange in the deep tech sector.”

By offering programmes tailored to researchers, academics, and postdoctoral researchers from diverse backgrounds, Skillfluence ensures that participants receive relevant and impactful training experiences.
