The EIT Alumni Community brings together entrepreneurs and innovation enthusiasts who share a common vision for creating positive societal impact through innovation and entrepreneurship. It gathers graduates and alumni from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s, (EIT) education, business creation and/or innovation programmes, regardless of the KIC to which they belong, the area in which they specialise, or the part of the world in which they live.
Between 2023 and 2025, the EIT Alumni is rolling out several EIT Alumni European Nodes to help establish a stronger post-pandemic, physical presence for its members in innovative communities, connect EIT alumni with local I&E ecosystems, strengthen the collaboration with the EIT Colocation Centres (CLCs), and set the ground for several monetisation models, as well as the potential to scale and develop a global presence in alignment with EIT’s vision.

EIT Alumni Activities
Through cross-community events, career development opportunities, and the chance to represent the EIT Community with high-level stakeholders and decision-makers, the EIT Alumni members build and sustain an engaged and active community that offers unique opportunities for its members to connect and form alliances that shape the future of Europe.
One of the main strengths of the community is its network and the many opportunities it brings to its members. These opportunities range from skills and/or co-founder opportunities including investments, connections to a global network, being part of a like-minded community, information and knowledge sharing, and social activities.
EIT Alumni CONNECT
EIT Alumni CONNECT annual event is the flagship event of all communities that constitute EIT Alumni. Over 150 Alumni from each of the EIT’s Innovation Communities come together to connect, build partnerships, co-create projects and work together to build the future of the EIT Alumni Community.
EIT Alumni Dealbox
The EIT Alumni DealBox is an exclusive database of partnerships that offers opportunities to alumni of all EIT KICs. Discounts, tickets to events, online courses and so much more are available to members through carefully curated partnerships.
Local EIT Alumni Events
To increase local engagement activities for the EIT Community, a series of local events are organised together with members of at least two KIC Alumni Communities to network, share expertise, connect, and collaborate. These events bring value to the Alumni in terms of networking and professional development, and to the EIT and the KICs as it gives greater access to a great pool of professionals who can be encouraged to continue their EIT Journey by participating in numerous more activities and projects.
EIT Alumni growth plans
The EIT Alumni Community has an unwavering dedication to innovation, collaboration, and sustainable progress, to strengthen its pivotal role in Europe’s development.
With the aim of extending the EIT Alumni Community, EIT Alumni is taking actions to engage talents, professionals, students from similar EIT initiatives such as Girls Go Circular, Deep Tech Talent Initiative and develop an EIT Alumni membership policy to strengthen the value proposition of the Community.
The Deep Tech Talent Initiative plays a pivotal role in consolidating the EIT Alumni platform of members, complementing the skills of the Alumni members for the next two years and become a key support element for bilateral outreach.
