CAC Católica Luz – Católica Luz Clinical Academic Centre

Our pledge
Católica-Luz Clinical Academic Centre is deeply committed to the mission and objectives of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s Deep Tech Talent Initiative. Our motivation to join the Pledge stems from our dedication to advancing the frontiers of life sciences and biotechnology through high-quality education and research, aligned with the urgent needs of today’s rapidly changing technological landscape.

At CAC-CL, we recognize the importance of developing specialized deep tech training programs that are not only market-relevant but also responsive to the needs of employment, entrepreneurship, and societal challenges, including environmental sustainability.
Our planned activities include the development and offering of at least three innovative deep tech training programs in the fields of biomedical research, medical education, and clinical practice. Examples of our initiatives include the ou Courses on Health Innovation, Global Pharma Industry, and Biotech Startup & Pharma, which integrate comprehensive technical knowledge with practical industry insights.

We are dedicated to continually improving the quality of our training by collaborating closely with students, trainers, and other stakeholders to review and enhance our curricula. In addition to monitoring and reporting both qualitative and quantitative aspects of our training provision, we place a strong emphasis on gender equality and inclusion, ensuring broad and equitable access to our educational offerings.
