Our pledge
CERTH is leading the way in using advanced technology to address social challenges, protect human life, and reduce the environmental impact of industries worldwide. We aim to equip the future workforce with advanced deep tech skills to prepare them for new market needs. Through our ongoing Innovation Alliance initiative and the PreMETs project, we are keen to pilot massive upskilling on deep tech topics. O Our first focus will be to offer deep tech courses in predictive maintenance, an area highlighted by the PreMETS initiative (https://premets.eu).
About
The Centre for Research and Technology Hellas – CERTH, founded in 2000, is a leading Research Centre in Greece and in the EU. It is a legal entity governed by private law with non-profit status, supervised by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT) of the Greek Ministry of Development & Investments. CERTH combines its unique research facilities and high qualified research personnel, to transform scientific knowledge into innovative technological applications, aiming to strength the national economy and respond to the needs of society at national and international level.
The Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) is part of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH). HIT’s main objective is the conduct and support of applied research activities in the field of transportation in Greece, more specifically on issues relating to the organization, operation, planning and development of infrastructure, the standardization, economic analysis, management, vehicle technology and the impact assessment of land, maritime, air, and multimodal transport services. HIT’s services also include the provision of training and education activities in related fields, the dissemination of research activities and the Representation of Greece in Transport Research and other relevant scientific for abroad.
