Our pledge
The skills development topic is transversal for the activities of CTBG as fostering talents is a cornerstone for the twin transition of the Bulgarian economy. CTBG is a member of the Pact for Skills, co-founder of the EDIH in Construction, part of the EDIHs network of Digital Europe, coordinator of the COVE ‘Buildskills Academy’ under the Erasmus+ (building transitional skills for the construction sector) and manager of the VET center ‘Aspekti’ working with adults reskilling and upskilling in the topic of green and digital transition.

On top of that, CTBG unites expertise and long-term experience in skills development based on the participation of numerous national and international projects and the engagement in diverse networks and initiatives as mentioned above. The motivation behind the application for DTTI pledger is backed up with the ambition to establish synergies between DTTI and other EU programmes such as Pact for Skills, Erasmus+ and Digital Europe. Additionally, there is identified potential leveraging of recognized skills development initiatives from international to regional level resulting in complementary actions and accumulative effect for EU as a whole.

Cleantech Bulgaria (CTBG) is a business network for clean technologies, innovation and sustainable development. CTBG nurtures the KTI in Bulgaria by connecting industry, research and academia, entrepreneurs and public bodies in diverse innovation and education projects in the field of circular economy, twin transition, sustainability etc. CTBG is an official partner of EIT, Hub manager of EIT Manufacturing, member of the EIT Climate KIC and EIT Urban Mobility, as well as national incubator of EIT Raw materials.
