Our pledge
As part of the activities of the II “Innocent”, were conducted “GIS training courses” based on ESRI software (Environmental Systems Research Institute), which is a world leader in the field of GIS. https://kdu.md/ru/item/828-realizovan-obrazovatelnyj-kurs-ispolzovanie-dronov-v-selskom-khozyajstve.
We are also introducing courses with elements of GIS and Artificial Intelligence into Educational Programs at the Faculty of Economics and Agricultural Technology:
– “New information technologies in agriculture” (for master’s cycle students) course,
– “Basic use of unmanned aerial vehicles in agriculture” course (for bachelor’s and master’s cycle students) ,
– “Digitization of business processes and the use of artificial intelligence” training course (for SMEs continuing education programs)
As part of the Deep Tech Talent Initiative, we want to develop existing skills and strengthen competencies in the study and development of the application of artificial intelligence.
About
Comrat State University (CSU) is a dynamic Higher Education institution founded in 1991, Comrat, ATU Gagauzia. Gagauzia is an autonomous territorial unit within the Republic of Moldova with a special legal status, reflecting the self-determination of Gagauz people, that carries out its activity in compliance with the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, the Law on special legal status of Gagauzia (Gagauz-Yeri) and the Legal Code.
The University consists of four Faculties, 17 Departments and seven Centres which provide training in 36 BSc, MSc, and PhD programmers. The university offers both full-time and part-time courses. CSU is successfully implementing the Bologna process, contributing to the integration of the higher education Republic of Moldova into the European Higher Education Area.
At CSU was creating Information Centre of the European Union (ICEU CSU), by support of European Union Delegation in Republic of Moldova. The ICEU CSU provides extensive information about the European Union: program and EU instruments dedicated to the countries within the European Neighborhood Policy, including the Republic of Moldova, information on European Union legislation, the rules of business and culture aspects. The CSU has been involved in many international projects including Tempus, Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education, Erasmus-Mundus projects focused on Leading and Management Change in Higher Education (Tempus – La MANCHE), development e-learning systems (Tempus – CRUNT), development students start-up centres (TEMPUS – SUCSID), development curricula and syllabuses Master study programme European Neighbourhood Policy Law and Good Governance and creating at CSU the Center of «European Neighborhood Policy and International Law», Tempus-INURE and others. CSU is strongly committed to the processes of internationalization and lifelong learning.
