Our pledge
At the Institute of Analytics (IoA), we are committed to fostering the growth and development of deep tech talent across diverse demographics. We are dedicated to providing affordable and immediate access to training for individuals at every stage of their tech journey to develop a skilled workforce capable of driving innovation and progress whilst keeping humans at the heart of data.

-We recognise the importance of nurturing interest in deep tech from an early age and aim to inspire and equip secondary school students, particularly young women, with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in deep tech fields.
-We offer comprehensive support to Higher Education students by working alongside educational institutions globally to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, preparing them for the demands of deep tech fields.
-We understand the evolving needs of companies and individuals in the workplace, especially given rapid technological advancements. Through flexible learning options and tailored training programmes, we commit to equipping adult learners with the additional deep tech skills necessary to excel in their careers and remain competitive in today’s digital landscape.

The IoA Data Engineering Tool Kit covers:
-50+ hours working with common coding tools in Machine Learning (Python, SQL, NoSQL and Pyspark)
-70+ hours focused on moving data efficiently including a 50 hour course in manipulating data between the cloud and setting up engineering pipelines in Python, working with AWS Kinesis and Lambda MongoDB and other cloud computing tools
-40+ hours of advanced training which introduces DevOps and MLOps, through PySpark and Keras deep learning projects and training with optional projects

The Institute of Analytics (IoA) is a global not-for-profit professional body for the analytics & data science community. Our mission is to:
-Develop and promote the highest professional and ethical standards
-Create awareness of the value of data analytics and its uses in society
-Promote data literacy for all through training and upskilling
-Inspire the next generation of analysts & data scientists through education

We welcome anybody with a passion for data to join as an IoA Affiliate Member. Rates are competitive (£120 per year) and there are no hidden costs. Benefits include access to the Data Engineering Tool Kit and 1400+ hours of training, updates on technological advancements and regulatory changes, masterclasses, resources and thought leadership.

IoA training ranges from foundational programming to advanced data science and deep tech skills. We offer structured learning tracks (Business Analyst with R and Data Analyst with Python) and specialist tool kits such as AI Essentials and Data Engineering via our member portal with in-built learner support and certificates of completion.
