The two programmes JA Europe propose for the Deep Tech Talent Initiative will train across the full spectrum of deep tech subjects.

About

• JA Europe is the leading European organisation dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed. It fights biases against underserved communities and girls in STEM.
• It already works with the EIT on the Girls Go Circular project, which trains 14-19 year old girls on tech, business, and the circular economy.
• JA will propose two main activities towards the Deep Tech Talent Initiative: The JA Innovation Camp and the JA Company Programme.

About JA Europe

Junior Achievement Europe is the largest and leading organisation in Europe dedicated to inspire and prepare young people to succeed. For over 100 years, Junior Achievement Worldwide has delivered hands-on, experiential learning in entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial health. In the last school year, the Junior Achievement Europe network provided over 6.6 million learning experiences for youth in online, in person and blended formats.

Junior Achievement Network is focusing on inspiring, equipping young people for the future in an equal way. Talent is universal but not the opportunities. One strategic initiative is focusing on providing Economic Opportunities for All, focusing on underserved communities as well as balancing the gender bias. We shape and transform our partnerships to engage more and more girls in STEM programmes. Together with European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT), they have been partnering to implement the EIT Girls Go Circular project, aimed to equip secondary school girls aged 14-18 across Europe with digital and entrepreneurial skills through an online learning programme about the circular economy. Junior Achievement Europe and its members have been implementing the EIT Girls Go Circular project since 2020 and have built successful results year after year.
