Our pledge
JA’s Greece motivation to join the Deep Tech Talent Initiative (DTTI) Pledge stems from its commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurial skills among youth. By participating in this initiative, it aims to contribute to the development of a robust talent pipeline that can drive technological advancements and economic growth in an ever-changing environment.
JA offerS a range of educational programs designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required for the evolving job market. These programs emphasize critical thinking, problem-solving and digital literacy, which are essential for success in deep tech fields. JA also conducts workshops and courses for both students and teachers that focus on emerging technologies, entrepreneurship and innovation. JAs flagship program the Company Program provide hands-on experience in creating and managing technology-driven businesses.
JA partners with leading tech companies and educational institutions to deliver cutting-edge content and real-world insights. These collaborations ensure that our programs are aligned with industry needs and provide students with valuable networking opportunities.

Company Program: This program guides students through the process of setting up and running a real business. It includes modules on business planning, product development, marketing, and finance. In partnership with tech companies, we provide courses on coding. These courses are designed to enhance the employability of students and prepare them for careers in the tech industry.
Apps101 is an online workshop for students aged 14 to 17 from across Greece. It aims to inspire students to pursue careers in technology, innovation, and business. Encouraging them to develop their entrepreneurial spirit, experiment, and turn their ideas into reality.
JA Greece participates in the program DTTI Action in Food, with the support of EIT FOOD. In this context, Greece, one of the 10 participating countries, aims to support high-quality and inclusive digital education, in line with the EU Digital Education Action Plan. Through an innovative AI readiness training programme (with two pathways, Code & Non-Code) aims to empower 500 students aged 16-20 years old in VET and higher education in the Agri-Food and ICT sectors, certify educators with deep tech/AI skills and develop AI innovative solutions, in national level.

About
JA Greece is an NGO offering educational programs on entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness to schools and universities all over Greece. Since 2005 JA has trained 120.000 students (aged 11–30), bringing added value to the Greek educational system and changing mindsets towards entrepreneurship. JA’ s mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. It is a member of JA Worldwide, that has been nominated for the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize.
