Kodluyoruz (We Code)

Our pledge
Kodluyoruz seeks to become a part of the Pledge as its mission of training young people in the technology sector aligns with the objectives of the Deep Tech Talent Initiative, which is skilling one million people in deep tech fields over the next three years. We wish to become a part of the pledger community to learn and improve our own courses to reach a larger number of young people while contributing to the DTTI initiative by including our own courses on Artificial Intelligence and our know-how in the field, in the context of the Pledge. Kodluyoruz has been conducting trainings since 2016, has been giving training sessions on AI since 2018, and has reached over 14.000 young people with these trainings, thus has a profound know-how, a wide target group and a large network on this field, which will be an asset for the pledger community. Kodluyoruz also created a podcast series with the guidance and appearance of its AI Consultancy Team to shine a light on the AI field for the Turkish speaking youth starting from 2020 (Kodluyoruz – Alchemist Podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/1s3hWl6tMQYtkdihHP3Alq?si=d0718064b0144500&nd=1). In 2020, Kodluyoruz conducted the “AI for Everyone” project, primarily focusing on vocational schools and including certain disadvantaged Anatolian high schools as well, with the support of the Empower Foundation. For this project, Kodluyoruz collaborated with Bilgeİş, a platform that still hosts Kodluyoruz’s AI content. Kodluyoruz has reached 14,750 beneficiaries through this platform. Bilgeiş is currently used by officials from the Ministry of National Defense for training purposes. (The platform of Bilgeİş: https://bilgeis.net/tr/courses/149/herkes-icin-yapay-zeka-i). In addition to these, Kodluyoruz has reached over 192,000 people on the academy.patika.dev platform (https://academy.patika.dev/tr), where software education is provided to young people with Kodluyoruz’s content on coding through this partnership for the past 2 years.

Kodluyoruz’s vision is to make Türkiye a worldwide talent hub in the technology sector, empowering the next generation of young professionals to thrive in the Industry 4.0 era and to dream of a better future, with a particular focus on empowering women in the sector.
