Our pledge
Madrid for Refugees (MFR) is excited to join the EIT Pledge and contribute to the goal of educating 1 million learners by 2025 on deep tech. As a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants at risk of social exclusion, we recognize the transformative potential of deep tech skills in improving their social integration and employability. We aim to contribute to the delivery of a deep tech entrepreneurial course tailored to the needs of our diverse community. Our extensive network of partners, including the United Nations, NGOs, and businesses, will enable us to reach and educate learners, providing them with the knowledge and skills to thrive. Through the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative, we will continue our mission of empowering people and promoting social inclusion.

About
Madrid For Refugees (MFR), established in 2015, is a non-profit organization formed by a network of international professionals in Madrid who collaborate voluntarily to help and empower those in the local community who are: individuals who find themselves in the status of being a refugee, asylum seekers, stateless, and migrants in need of international protection and/or at risk of social exclusion. MFR works to improve social integration and employability.
