Our mission is to build a stable platform for today’s and future space industry scientists and entrepreneurs, fostering an environment of innovation, growth, and collaboration. Through our projects, we provide guidance and resources to empower space enthusiasts and professionals, inspiring the next generation while establishing Montenegro as a key player in the global space industry.
Our motivation to join the Deep Tech Talent Initiative stems from our steadfast commitment to educate and empower young professionals in the Balkan region, equipping them with the advanced skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the growing space sector. By offering comprehensive deep tech education and hands-on training, we aim to equip them with the necessary tools and training to compete and innovate in the global workforce. This initiative also aligns with our goal of contributing to global talent development and economic equality, as we continue to evolve and target underprivileged communities, women, and minorities in the Balkans.
To develop both the skills of Balkan individuals and grow Montenegro as a force in space exploration, Montenegro Space Research has launched several courses, such as “We are sending children’s imagination into space.” , “Small steps to space.” (partnership with Ministry of Science and Innovation) , “Women in STEM Leadership.” etc. We are committed to providing essential tools and support necessary to excel in today’s tech-driven world.
Continuing to provide similar courses and initiatives improves our ability to inspire and educate the next generation of space industry professionals, driving forward Montenegro’s capabilities and contributing to global space exploration.

Montenegro Space Research is a groundbreaking organization based in the heart of Podgorica, Montenegro. We pride ourselves on being a multifaceted entity, registered both as a non-governmental organization (NGO) and a limited company (LTD). Our most notable accomplishment to date is the successful development and launch of the first Montenegrin satellite, affectionately named “Luča.”
