Our pledge
The MUNICH INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM is a strategic entity designed to connect Munich’s Deep Tech Innovation Ecosystem through its academic landscape, both within and beyond Munich proper. We bring an entrepreneurial perspective in Deep Tech to the wider society, including corporates, SMEs, the public sector, and academia. One major initiative for this purpose is the AI+MUNICH program, which accelerates AI startup formation targeting the UN Sustainable Development Goals through educational content, hackathon formats, prototype funding, and other initiatives to enhance AI literacy across Munich, Bavaria, Germany, and even into the EU. This is made possible through our unique position right between our cooperative partners such as UnternehmerTUM, TUM Venture Labs, Start2Group, Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship, and the University of Applied Sciences. We see ourselves as a valuable agent to harness Munich’s expertise in its already developed Deep Tech ecosystem and to make it accessible beyond its academic borders.
