National Institute of Biology plans to train students in the biomedical sciences and biotechnology.

About
National Institute of Biology (NIB) is the largest independent Public Research Institution for Life Sciences in Slovenia.

NIB carries out research on the biology of organisms and covers many fields across the biological sciences, including ecology, physiology, biology of the cell and molecular biology. Our ecological research includes freshwater, terrestrial and marine ecosystems.

NIB’s applied research is useful in the biomedical sciences and biotechnology related to the environment, agriculture, food and, more recently and increasingly so, to human health.
