Our pledge
Over a period of four years, I explored various advanced technologies in orthopedic surgery and human rehabilitation, during which I tested and worked on several ideas to improve traumatology and orthopedic technology standards. Here I found comfort in an old idea I had during my second year of university. This inspired me to create my own start-up company, and in the future I will regret that I didn’t work on my start-up during this time. Fortunately, the EIT Health MiTH Master’s program taught me effective ways to start a medical technology company. Although reality is light years away from school, the fundamentals were here and the lessons were powerful.
Today, I’m connected to the EIT Health community and I want to continue to build a strong link between PGU Medtec and Europe. However, I’ve noticed that few of my colleagues are pursuing entrepreneurship. On the other hand, I actively promote my course and have established the PGU MEDTEC Elite Executive Program within my company. Our program promotes excellence, knowledge, and curiosity in advanced technologies for ultra-mobility, and applicants are selected primarily based on their motivation to reach the top through improving their skills and gaining professional experience in research and development, opening up better opportunities that I either had or would have liked to have had when I was in their shoes.

About
PGU MEDTEC is a deep-tech biomedical company focused on creating virtual 3D models of ultra-realistic human beings, accounting for both motor skills and appearance. This includes tracking the dynamics of skin, fat, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Applications for our technology span industries including surgery (training, decision support, and surgical planning), space (kinesispatial), defense (combat biomechanics), and industrial R&D.
