The motivation to join the pledge is due to the fact that Andreea herself has a background and track record in delivering software building solutions while she notices that the knowledge received in schools and universities cannot keep up with the level that companies are seeking in newly hired – graduates. The belief that Learning should be a continuous process in the knowledge-economy is a paradigm that everyone may need to adapt at certain moment in time. Mentoring and founding initiatives like Rotterdam.AI, AI program upskilling for women InnoHub at Women in AI, Techlabs Rotterdam are examples of delivered results.
