The Technical University of Varna is driven by an unwavering commitment to excellence in deep technology education, research, and innovation. We are thrilled to join the Deep Tech Talent Initiative (DTTI) and contribute to its mission of nurturing the next generation of deep tech talent. Our motivation for joining the Pledge is deeply rooted in our vision to be at the forefront of technological advancement in both education and research.
Our Contribution to Deep Tech Talent
Over the years, our university has consistently strived to make significant contributions to the field of deep technology. Our faculty members and students have actively engaged in a wide range of initiatives, courses, and actions that align with the objectives of the DTTI. Some of the major deep tech fields that the University can contribute include: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, including Big Data; Cybersecurity and Data Protection; Electronics and Photonics; Robotics; Sustainable Energy and Clean Technologies. In those fields the university has bachelor and master programs in Bulgarian and English language as well as specialized courses being developed in various projects.

About
Technical University of Varna is a HEI focused on engineering & technical sciences. The University has more than 7500 students attending its Bachelor and Master programs. It is structured around 4 faculties and 2 colleges. It employs 380 academic staff & incorporates 152 laboratories. Major fields of education and R&D for the university include: ICT, Electrical engineering, electronics and automation, Machine engineering, Power engineering, Shipbuilding, Land and naval transport technologies.
