Our pledge
I feel the issue of spreading solar energy to the people in the right way as a responsibility on me. For someone who has already given seminars and webinars in dozens of schools, (https://www.technicall.com.tr/bizden-haberler/) with free courses (https://www.udemy.com/user/kerem-cilli/), ‘EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative’ programme will be the wind that will fill our sails while reaching my goals. Having similar goals brought us together at this point. The source of this motivation is passion from within. Since I have been in the solar energy sector for more than 10 years and I do not think the development of the solar energy sector in our country sufficient, I am doing social engineering to spread this issue. I reach large masses with both my youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/technicall_tr) and my blog page (https://www.keremcilli.com/). Electric vehicles, energy storage, especially solar energy, are the cornerstones of the road to energy independence, and this independence (as well as energy efficiency) starts from homes. At the point of establishing a distributed grid structure, every house will also be an energy production power plant. I am aware of this and I know that this change is coming rapidly and I am experiencing the pleasure of raising awareness of people on this issue. on the other hand, it is exciting to be part of the training programmes offered by the Deep Tech Talent Initiative and to train together prospective graduates or recent university graduates. I think that technical courses are important in terms of combining engineering education with field experience and training new graduate engineers with self-confidence. We have similar thoughts with the EIT principles and together with the objective of dissemination of technical courses, especially in terms of solar energy being of key importance in terms of women’s employment and ensuring equal opportunities.
As Technicall, we provide professional level trainings to a wide range of participants from sector professionals to new graduates in our specially designed ‘green building’ concept. We also organise trainings at the Chamber of Electrical Engineers. (Kerem ÇİLLİ is a Chamber of Engineers trainer.) Our Green Building is a unique training house that is currently unique in Türkiye. The roof-type solar power plant, which has been installed on the roof for a long time and designed with different technology panels, solar panels on the balcony and fences, a hybrid system that feeds our lithium battery& house, an electric vehicle charging unit, rainwater harvesting and a heat pump for heating and cooling are ideal for hands-on training. With the trainings we provide here, we can train competent people in subjects such as green building design, communication of different equipment with each other and monitoring systems and energy management. It is a special area that can keep up with the changing technology quickly, has more than 100 products in its stock and can be experienced by the participants. We offer new generation training methodologies with our programme that focuses on field experience sharing rather than theoretical knowledge. We work in a complementary model that fills the existing gaps in the education system, especially by making practical application skills and workshops that our participants cannot obtain in universities.
