Our pledge
The participation in the Pledge will help us to upskill our staff and raise awareness on the topics of deep tech. It will also help the company to gain exposure to a community and up to date information about relevant funding opportunities, news related to deep tech skills training and networking opportunities with other relevant organizations and individuals.

About
The Edge: Research and Business Development is a spin-off company of JA Bulgaria that aims to fill-in the gap between innovative, high-tech academic research and its commercialization worldwide. The Edge: R&BD is building upon more than 20 years’ experience of Junior Achievement Bulgaria in entrepreneurship education.
The pre-accelerator Beyond was designed and developed by The Edge: R&BD in 2019 and targets young people (BSc, MSc and PhD level), JA alumni (18+), as well as young professionals that want to work on creating and developing lean technology startups. The program is based on blended learning and learning-by-doing which includes both proven educational methodology and practical approach to create efficient and sustainable startups. It applies the open innovation model, meaning the creation of multidisciplinary teams of people with different backgrounds and competences that work in the same teams with the end goal of creating an MVP. Beyond has focus in three thematic areas – digital innovations in healthcare & medicine; agrotech; creative industries.
