About
Esslingen University consistently achieves top rankings in engineering, technical business administration, and social sciences. With over 6,100 students enrolled in 31 bachelor’s and 14 master’s programs, the institution excels in teaching, research, and transfer across its 6 faculties, 67 labs, and 28 engineering Steinbeis Transfer Centers. Employing around 220 professors, 470 lecturers, and 440 staff at three locations (Esslingen-City Center, -Flandernstraße, and Göppingen), HE is a leading transfer university in Baden-Württemberg, sought-after by businesses and associations in the Stuttgart metropolitan area. The region’s economy, centered around a versatile industrial core (especially in mobility and Industry 4.0), is supported by HE’s strategic partnerships. Notably, the Esslingen district boasts the highest density of world market leaders in Germany (2020).
