Our pledge
Our motivation to join the pledge with part of our educational and training courses is to contribute to the Initiative and achieving higher visibility. Regarding our offer: the Bio-All post-graduation course is directed at students, innovators and entrepreneurs in BioHealth Entrepreneurship and Innovation, aimed at promoting the knowledge and skills needed to boost and consolidate the creation and scaling of life sciences ventures. It comprises 12 Modules,
comprehending 60 ECTS, in online and hybrid mode. The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Acceleration course aims to: Accelerate new entrepreneurial and innovative business ideas; Prepare students to deal with different forms of intellectual property protection; and Train students to formalise business models. It is aimed at all students, researchers and professionals. It comprises 6 modules and tutorials and awards 1 ECTS. The Accelerator of entrepreneurial ventures comprises 11 modules from ideation, team, customer, IP, go to market plan, investment, entrepreneurial life, pitching and the innovators journey.

About
UBImedical is a space of excellence to articulate the connection between the University and the business world, comprising 2 areas: the laboratory area and the incubation area. The laboratory area has the mission of transferring technology, involving 11 resident laboratories in the areas of health and life sciences. The incubator welcomes entrepreneurs in the same areas. This structure has enriched the health cluster in Portugal, acting as spill-over linking the University to the market.
