Our pledge
Our motivation to join the Deep Tech Talent Initiative (DTTI) pledge stems from our university’s long-term commitment to bridging the skills gap in the rapidly evolving tourism industry. As AI and big data technologies transform economies, including tourism, there is an urgent need to equip current and future professionals whom we educate in our bachelor and master programs with the expertise required to harness these advancements. By participating in DTTI, we aim to contribute to a larger European effort to cultivate a highly skilled deep tech talent pool, ensuring the tourism sector as well as other industries remain competitive, innovative, and sustainable.

About
The University of Economics in Bratislava (EUBA) is one of the oldest universities in Slovakia. It is a leading public university with extensive experience in research and teaching in Economics, Business, Finance, Management and International Relations. The EUBA has 7 000 students at its 7 faculties, was accredited by the AACSB international accreditation in 2021, since 2022 it has been the holder of the HR Award – HR Excellence in Research, since 2024 it has been the member of EURAXESS network.
