Our pledge
UNIKG, https://en.kg.ac.rs/, with 12 Faculties in different areas, is motivated to join the Pledge since it has established education and research in relation to the deeptech areas such as:
• advanced materials and manufacturing;
• artificial intelligence and machine learning;
• biotechnology;
• Web 3.0;
• electronics;
• robotics;
• semiconductors (microchips);
• sustainable green energy and clean technologies.
The current DEEPTECH-2M project (http://deeptech2m.eu/) and recently successfully completed SMART-2M project (https://smart2m.eu/) funded by the EIT and supported by EIT Raw Materials and EIT Digital, both have activities in deeptech domain. Networking with other stakeholders of the deeptech areas, especially industry and business, will enable UNIKG to be in line with the latest developments and directions of research and education, as well as open up possibilities for new collaborative projects aiming at contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also considering the three pillars of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance).
Existing UNIKG training programs include several international Master and Doctoral studies in English, in line with the Deep Tech Talent Initiative’s mission, such as:

Joining the Pledge will enable exchange of deep tech educational best practices to update and improve our courses and create new ones, in line with the market trends.

About
UNIKG recognizes the importance of international exposure by featuring our training initiatives and exchanging deep tech educational best practices and research collaboration with the EIT and its Communities and Pledge partners. Besides the already existing educational programs across deeptech domains such as health, science and engineering, we are committed to collaboration with industry and business stakeholders, and especially to creating a supporting environment for research startups.
