Our pledge
The University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is motivated to join the Pledge to contribute to the development of a highly skilled workforce in deep tech topics. We recognize the growing importance of artificial intelligence and robotics in shaping the future of various industries, and we are committed to contribute a course on AI in robotics. This course will provide students with hands-on experience in applying artificial intelligence techniques to robotic systems, covering topics such as machine learning, computer vision, and autonomous navigation. By offering this course, we aim to equip our students with practical skills that are in high demand in the industry and enable them to drive innovation in the field of robotics.

About
The University of Ljubljana is the oldest and largest higher education and scientific research institution in Slovenia, founded in 1919.Today, it is attended by around 40,000 students and employs more than 6,000 teachers, researchers, assistants, and professional and administrative staff at 23 faculties and three art academies. The main building, the academies and many faculties are located in the city centre. The newer university buildings are located on the outskirts of Ljubljana, giving the university and its students an old-world feel in the city.
