Our pledge
The University of Minho proposes to join the Deep Tech Talent Initiative, contributing to training activities in the fields of science and engineering, in close collaboration with other partners. The mission of University of Minho focuses on the creation and transfer of knowledge, thus aligning with the objectives of the Deep Tech Talent Initiative, in particular contributing to a steady influx of skilled professionals ready to tackle the challenges and opportunities in the deep tech industry. In very short term, the University of Minho will partner with Tellspec in the currently open Call for Training Proposals, proposing an innovative course on Spectroscopy coupled to Machine Learning and its Applications in Industrial, Nutritional, Medical, Agricultural and Computational Sciences.
There is strong expertise at the University of Minho in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences, both as core disciplines, and as applied technology to other fields of knowledge.
