About
Warsaw School of Computer Science is a higher education institution in Poland, which conducts educational and research activities in the field of ICT. We identify the field of computer science as being of paramount importance for the quality and pace of socio-economic development. For the last 20 years, our role as educators has had its impact on innovation, technological development and shaping of the national labor market by providing thousands of alumni and trainees with specific skill set that could be easily applied to fit the needs of the ever-changing IT landscape.

OUR MISSION

The primary task of our Bachelor, Master and Postgraduate courses is to equip students with the highest quality technical knowledge and most importantly practical skills in the field of computer science, enabling them to obtain employment consistent with their skills, personal expectations and the demands of the labor market.

STUDENT NETWORK

WSCS keeps close ties with its alumni long after graduation, monitoring their career paths, providing mentorship and networking opportunities, and most importantly encouraging them for continuing their education and self-improvement.

OUR VALUES

WSCS does its best to retain its image of an open, innovative, and modern institution by fostering internationalization, engaging in socio-educational projects promoting diversity, inclusion and accessibility and opening our course offer beyond the higher education framework, reaching out to various stakeholders in VET and high school education (both students and instructors).

OUR EXPERTISE

We constantly work on developing programs and projects to support the educational process, systematically modifying the structure and content of our education programs, learning outcomes, and specialization profiles to fit the needs of an everchanging educational and labor market. Being involved in a number of international projects around artificial intelligence (ARISA) and bridging software skills gaps (ESSA), we have embarked on yet another journey of adapting the idea of microcredentials into our existing educational framework.

We believe that our profile and experience fits ideally into EIT goals of educating and upskilling deep tech competences in Europe and we will do our best to contribute to achieving these goals.
